Jamie Topper is a Chicago-based drummer and educator specializing in Afro-Caribbean and Middle Eastern rhythmic traditions. She has worked as a teaching artist in Chicago schools and community organizations for over 10 years, designing arts education and arts integration residencies with all age classes by nationally renowned arts organizations such as Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (CAPE), Art, Columbia College Center for Community Partnerships and Project AIM (Arts Integration Mentorship), After School Matters, Northeastern University, Chicago Teachers’ Center and the Interfaith Refugee and Immigration Ministries policy. Topper was also a musician-in-residence takes on Rush University Children’s Hospital by Snow City Arts Foundation, a program that artistic education of hospitalized children. Recently she has been working for the Music National Service as MusicianCorps Fellow and Director for the Chicago team. She is an honorary member of the University of Chicago’s Middle Eastern Music Ensemble and currently plays with the Manteca Folk Ensemble, an Afro-Caribbean folk group, and Judson Claiborne, a roots-rock outfit.

A buddy of mine took a couple of lessons a few years back at the Sanchez Taekwondo Academy in sd. I did a little research and it was founded by master Jerry Sanchez. He is a fifth degree black belt who is certified by the World Taekwondo Foundation. Here is their site:

London is Britain’s leading centre for arts education. London’s four music conservatories are the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, Trinity College of Music, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Other drama schools include Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (“RADA”), and the Central School of Speech and Drama. Art schools include Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Chelsea School of Art, and Camberwell School of Art, (all part of the University of the Arts), and Goldsmith’s College and the Slade School of Art (both part of the University of London), and The Royal College of Art. In the South-West, meanwhile, the Wimbledon School of Art is also on offer. The former Hornsey School of Art is now part of Middlesex University.
